Yes, we are awful posters. It is so much easier to update Facebook (I can upload photos directly from my phone), so maybe everyone should get a Facebook account? Think about it!! :)
I will try to upload pics to the blog soon of Si's joint pirate birthday party with Tate and Luka, which took place this past Sunday. It was a great time. We also have his family birthday party coming up, so I am sure I will have a bunch of pictures from that.
Updates? Um, Si has been going peepee in his potty! It has been about 7 times so far...I know this because we put a sticker up for each time he goes in the potty, and when he fills up the page with stickers he gets to pick out a new toy. I don't think he understands that part yet though. We have also turned his crib into a "big boy bed", and will be starting that adventure this weekend.
We (with the help of my mom) went to town on the crazy backyard and have it looking presentable. There are a couple more things I want to do before we have Si's family bday at our house, but it is looking better than it ever has! We are still dealing with the stupid raccoons and their potentially hazardous brain parasite poop, and so we bought some ultrasound pest repeller-thingy that doesn't seem to work. In theory, if it bothered the raccoons, it would bother our cats...and our cats hang out directly next to the sound thingy. Nice. It is also supposed to be ultrasound and undetectable by humans, but I sure can hear the incessant "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" sounds emitted by the device. Not sure what that says about me.
