Saturday was "Dantoberfest", a celebration of Dan's 31 years on earth and also a tribute to good German beer and sausages. It was windy and cold so many of us huddled by the roaring fire...while others braved the elements and played a traditional German game - hammer some nails in a log. It was a good time had by all.
